About Me
Learn about me, Craig Silberman, from my bio (below) and other ego-building stuff in this section.
Born in the midwest, I've been a photographer for forty years. I began with my Kodak 126 Instamatic and a small darkroom my dad set up in the basement. My favorite camera was my first SLR, a Minolta SRT-101 that I took from coast to coast, to the top of Mt. Rainier and to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Today I live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where I shoot a Nikon DSLR most of the time. See my Tips and Techniques section for a discussion of why I love digital so much.
I've not given up on film, however, and was shooting with my Nikon N2000 as recently as this past September.

John P. O'Grady is an author and photographer who often shoots in the infrared spectrum.
