Eagle Lake - Black and White

Over the last year, I've been enamored of creating black and white landscapes that convey the same power as a color photo would. Sometimes the absence of color allows the eye to see the relationship between shapes and patterns better.

This photo of Eagle Lake, in the Holy Cross Wilderness Area of Colorado, was taken just before advancing clouds obscured the sun.
