Little Wild Horse Canyon, near Utah's Goblin Valley State Park, is a fantastic hike.





We did it last year in much warmer weather, and returned with hundreds of photos. Though many of them accurately captured the experience of being in a slot canyon, they weren't the artistic expressions I would have liked to create.

Returning this year, I had some ideas of how to improve things. For this shot, I crouched low and zoomed in to compress the twists and turns of this section.

Later, in Photoshop, I was able to work with levels to correct for the color cast that the auto white balance created.
